Creating a Warm and Dynamic Living Experience

Chen's design team excels in using panels to create a modern aesthetic. The beige tones serve as a base, while panels of different textures, such as stone and wood, add depth and visual interest to the space. The result is a harmonious blend of materials that exudes elegance and sophistication.

One of the standout features of this design is the shared reading area on the third floor. The ceiling is adorned with a stunning starry sky pattern, created with artistic paint. Even when the lights are turned off, the room emits a subtle starlight, reminiscent of the aurora and the tranquility of a night sky. The combination of deep blue and black creates an open and expansive atmosphere, perfect for stargazing.

In the boys' room on the third floor, the design team cleverly addressed the challenge posed by beams. By incorporating staggered slopes in the ceiling and utilizing indirect lighting, they managed to blur the boundaries of the beams, creating a seamless and spacious environment.

The second floor, dedicated to the master bedroom and study room, offers a clear and functional space. The study room features a retractable lift table, allowing it to transform into a versatile area for yoga, aerobic exercises, or stretching. The use of circular elements throughout the space adds a sense of harmony and balance.

With a total area of 495 square meters, this residential space provides ample room for comfortable living. Chen's design team carefully considered the clients' daily routines and incorporated suitable home appliances to maximize functionality. The addition of decorative artwork and the use of reflective materials further enhance the uniqueness of the space.

Local Fengshui and culture played a significant role in the design process. The movement design of the main hall on the first floor and the orientation of the tea room on the fourth floor were influenced by these elements, creating a harmonious and balanced living environment.

This design project, located in Taichung, Taiwan, is set to be completed in August 2021. Chen's meticulous attention to detail and innovative use of materials and techniques have resulted in a residential space that is both sophisticated and inviting.

Recognized for its excellence, this design was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that are well-designed, practical, and innovative, meeting professional and industrial requirements. Chen's design exemplifies these qualities, contributing to a better world through its fulfillment and positive impact.
